Hi Jim,

I have a 2005 Norco VPS bike that I got from head office due to my previous bike breaking from a stress fracture in my upper stay bar close to OD (outside diameter) of the rim. Now this 2005 VPS was delivered to me (with life time warranty) to replace my old defective bike because of the fracture it suffered. Now my bike has got two stress cracks in the frame once again right under the lower chain stay bar located right behind the crank arms. I would really like to get this issue resolved as I am a loyal Norco rider. My bikes are always taken care of, so please help me on this issue so I can contine to ride my Norco Bikes.
Cantact me at

Email- goldie_5_mtbrage@hotmail.com
Cell 1-519-694-7367

Thanks,
Nolan Goldie

Had the opportunity to test a sight and have to say the difference between it and my 2008 fluid are night and day. Its is alot lighter and easier to handle in the tight trails and much stiffer for a more responsive ride. The suspension improvements make it a much better climber as well. Definetely a great trail bike.

hi ... as per the paint issue... i can feel the pain of scratchs. Just a thought or suggestion, might it be possible for Norco to release, or even upon request provide paint codes? this may solve the issue.

Well... not clearly answers my question, but... I see that A.R.T. is still F.S.R. wich is GOOOOOOD. So I hope to see more design changes and pick up an DH/FR machine for my self when I will be able to buy ;) Thanks!

Hi, thanks for answering my query above! I really appreciated it. I understand you don't want to supply touch up paint with every bike, but wouldn't it be great if you made just some available for those who needed it... Anyhow, still loving (my sorrowfully scratched) Norco bike.

[...] Norco has been making FSR suspension bikes for nearly 20 years. FSR was first designed by Horst Leitner in 1991 and later purchased by specialized bicycles. With the rearward pivot below and in-front of the rear axle there are many aspects of ride characteristics that are improved over other suspension designs. Norco’s A.R.T. suspension uses FSR but has a much lower and further forward pivot position that traditional designs.
